Coaching on Meta Ads, Digital Strategy, Mindset, and the Dark Arts of Storytelling

You're a business owner, maybe even a one person crew. You're trying to make Facebook ads work. "It's so simple," people say. Uh-huh.

You find the Ads Manager complicated and annoying. Those ads you keep running feel more like burning money... and you don't really know why.

Publishing Meta ads be like...

Maybe you've mastered how to publish an ad or two but the results are frustratingly inconsistent. Some ads might be winners, but you can't tell which ones. You're confused, overwhelmed, and hate the entire experience. Still... Facebook ads are where your customers are. So you keep trying. And trying.

What you really need is someone to look over your shoulder to ask questions just before you hit "Publish"... Am I doing this right? Maybe my ad copy could be better... What should I be testing? How will I know if this ad is successful? When should I retarget? The list of question feels endless.

5/5 doctors recommend this button can cause severe anxiety.

I can stop people wasting lots of money on Meta ads.

I help small business owners understand how to run ads on Facebook and Instagram so they can go from stressed out and embarrassed about wasting money to feeling capable and confident ad spend will create ads that consistently reach their ideal customers.

Mastering Meta's Ads Manager can make you thousands of dollars, and maybe you already spent thousands of dollars to learn how. But damn it, Facebook! Stop updating your damned ad platform. Now all that knowledge is obsolete. You can't seem to stay on top of it all. ๐Ÿคฌ

Meta changed their ad algorithm... again?

I consult on Meta ads... so you don't die.

I've been running ads on Facebook long enough that I can demystify the entire process for newcomers. Because Meta keeps changing how their ads work, it can be challenging to know which strategies are obsolete. I have to always keep my knowledge current. If your eyes glaze over when you see CPC, CPM, CPL, AOV... I mean, WTF! Let me help!

Instead of $3,000 running my own ads, I should have spent $300 to run fewer ads and hire a mentor to help me avoid my big mistakes.

I'll not ashamed to say it: when I first ran ads on Facebook, I had no idea what I was doing. I wasted so much time trying again and again to learn how it all worked, and kept failing. 0/5 stars. Would not recommend.

Now I help others avoid my expensive mistakes. My experience in filmmaking, advertising, publishing, programming, and A.I. has given me a unique blend of skills that other digital strategists don't have. (Plus, I really do love looking at spreadsheets.)

By leveraging all my different skillsets, I can help you:

  • identify your ideal customer
  • clarify your product idea
  • design a test with Facebook ads to market test that idea
  • write the ad copy to hit customers at an emotional level
  • help you pore over the data so you know what the data actually means

If that sounds appealing, book a free call and let's see how I can help you.

"Great! What's the rate?"

(Warningโ€”here's my side quest.) I once worked with a First Assistant Director on a film shoot. A good 1st A.D. has zero time for nonsense, but that didn't stop indie filmmakers from asking him to do free work. He had a clever way to quickly force them into telling him if their job offer was paid or not: "Great! What's the rate?"

I learned a valuable lesson that day. Don't waste people's time by withholding information until it's too late. Waiting until the 11th hour might be good for negotiations, but it's a crappy tactic that holds customers hostage. "You must watch these 10 videos before I can even tell you how much my course costs. Now that you have jumped through all these hoops, my course is a five figure sum... but you've already agreed that it's worth it, riiiiight???" ๐Ÿ™„

This crap is why customers loathe salespeople. So, in case you missed it earlier: my initial free consultation is 25 minutes. My hourly rate is $50/hour. Rates will increase as coaching spots dwindle.

Facebook ads, got it. And lots of other expertise.

I've been around a bit. Starting in writing, got into filmmaking, laid out magazines and ads, picked up programing, then had kids. After that, I got into fine art filmmaking, and now I do digital advertising as the Director of Development for The Jefferson County Beacon... which means I'm the rainmaker for donor development, advertising and product that aligns with the Beacon's mission.

  • Writing & self-publishing: I can write succinct ad copy, and present it in very professional book format. Plus, I know the difference between and en dash and an em dash. (Believe it or not, I never used A.I. once to write this page. Because I'm old school that way.)
  • Filmmaking: I appreciate the value of a good visual hook and how to craft a cinematic narrative.
  • Web hosting & programming: I know HTML, javascript, how to register web site domains, how to set up emails, and how to run a nonprofit news website.
  • Fine art photography: I can print any image huge, and present it well enough that it sells for thousands of dollars.
  • Digital advertising: I do rate sheets, design ads, and grok weird acronyms like CPC, CPM, and AOV.

Any of these skillsets could demand $100/hour, but cumulatively I could charge $500/hour. Since I'm just starting out with coaching, I'm offering access for just $50/hour. Rates will go up as my calendar fills up. Book a free call now to see if I can help you out.
